Amongst all the afflictions that torture humanity, there is one that gets almost no attention. One that numbs minds, destroys motivation and kills enthusiasm. Turbo Trainer Boredom Syndrome (TTBS) must stop. And here at Sufferfest Studios, from our offices in Melbourne, Australia and Singapore, we are determined to make TTBS a thing of the past. To do that, we create the hardest, most exciting, most get-on-your-bike-and-suffer-your-ass-off cycling training in the world for time-crunched athletes. They're also funny.
Our downloadable videos are the only ones to feature officially licensed footage from races like the Tour de France, Paris-Roubaix, the Giro d'Italia, Tour of Flanders, the Road World Championships and more. We combine that with brilliant, hand-picked music and structured interval workouts designed by world-class coaches. On-screen instructions mean that you simply need to follow - NO THINKING REQUIRED JUST SUFFERING!!!!
You see, we want to make you faster - whether you're a pro or a first-time newbie - and we want you to have a good time while that happens. We also strive to deliver the best customer service in the industry. The Sufferlandrian community deserves nothing less.

David McQuillen, Founder & Chief Sufferlandrian
Confronted with what appeared to be a terminal case of TTBS back in 2009, David refused to give in to his demons. Teaching himself how to edit video and after negotiating rights with major races (something he'd never done before), he created his first Sufferfest video and inflicted it on the world. With confidence boosted after being called an "assassin," "sadist," and other such terms of endearment, David continued to improve the quality of Sufferfest videos and expand the library of Suffering. With his TTBS behind him, and having realised his true calling was to spread agony and misery across the land, David quit his career in banking in 2012 to focus full time on the 'fest and his young family. Linked-in profile. (The photo on the left? That's David arriving at Mt. Everest Base Camp on his mountain bike, part of a journey from Lhasa to Tibet. Epic Suffering.)
Cal Britten, Senior Minion for Sufferlandrian Support
It's in the genes. His Dad taught Cal to suffer... the suffering started in cross country running and eventually founds its way to cross country skiing. Being an Australian, cross country skiing wasn't an ideal athletic pursuit so to feed his insatiable desire to suffer he turned my legs to mountain biking where he raced in four World Championships. Cal now races on the road for Australia's Search2Retain p/b Health.com.au team and aspires to a professional career in Europe. When not racing or training you can find Cal at Uni completing his Bachelor of Economics and Finance degree or behind the computer serving Sufferlandrians around the world. PS. His dad's still a real 'hard man' and never hesitates to half wheel him on a training ride...
Missing a link? Want to know what video to get? Need some tips on importing videos? Cal's your man. He's badass, too: Cal has represented Australia at the World Mountain Bike Championships four times.
Henry Gaunt, Senior Minion for Beauty
There is no reason why Suffering should be ugly. It should be done with grace, beauty and style. And that's why Henry Gaunt is part of the team. Henry is responsible for the graphic design of our videos, turning them into beautiful works of art that are not only nice to look at, but also clear and precise. Henry has been working in creative media for more than 11 years. He doesn't ride a bike enough though. We're trying to change that.
We are proud to have a group of partners to help us spread the Sufferlandrian way. They include:
